Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment. As an Apprentice Nursery Assistant , you will support the daily activities and routines of the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the care and attention they need to thrive, whilst gaining a valuable childcare qualification.

Duties

You will learn to:

Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive nursery environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space, including toys and equipment. Support children in developing basic skills such as sharing, communication, and self-care. Drive initiatives that encourage children's creativity and curiosity through play-based learning

Experience

Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with children and parents. A genuine interest in child development and a commitment to providing high-quality care is essential
