Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education while working in a nurturing environment. As an Apprentice, you will support the daily activities within the nursery, ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere for children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development and learning. Provide high-quality care and supervision for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork. Support the management team in maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating nursery environment. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in childcare and early years education. Help with administrative tasks as required, including record keeping and reporting on children's progress.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is desirable but not essential. A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous. Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. Demonstrated leadership potential and management skills will be beneficial as you progress in your apprenticeship. A valid driving licence may be advantageous for potential travel between locations or outings with the children. Pay: From 7.55 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
