D&P Coatings Limited is a well?established blasting and industrial coatings company based in Ellesmere Port. We work across a wide range of sectors, delivering high?quality surface preparation and protective coating solutions for major clients. As our workload continues to grow, we're looking to bring two motivated apprentices into the team -- ideally school leavers who are ready to start building a long?term career in the industry.

Apprentice Quality Assurance (QA) Technician

Apprentice Quality Assurance (QA) Technician

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detail, accuracy, and working in a practical environment.

What you'll learn

How to carry out QA checks on blasting and coating work Use of inspection tools (DFT gauges, profile meters, environmental monitoring equipment) Reading and understanding technical specifications Completing QA documentation and reports Working alongside inspectors and supervisors on live projects Health & safety and industry standards

What we're looking for

Good attention to detail Willingness to learn technical processes Comfortable working in workshop and site environments Reliable, organised, and proactive

Apprentice Estimator

This role suits someone who enjoys numbers, problem?solving, and understanding how projects fit together.

What you'll learn

How to read drawings, specifications, and client requirements Calculating surface areas, material quantities, and labour requirements Understanding blasting and coating systems Preparing quotations and supporting tender submissions Working with the operations team to plan projects Commercial awareness and cost control

What we're looking for

Strong numeracy and logical thinking Good communication skills Interest in engineering, construction, or industrial work Confident using computers and learning new software
