Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant (experience not required) to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care and that medications are dispensed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing inventory. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns. Support medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and medication orders. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in pharmacy practice. Prepare medication orders, including counting tablets, measuring liquids, and labelling prescriptions. Assist in maintaining a clean and organised pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A commitment to providing compassionate care to patients.
