APPRENTICESHIP

LEVEL 2 Will be training with local college to gain qualification up to NVQ level 2 Pharmacy assistant.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented APPRENTICE Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. Duties

Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently Prepare medication labels and organise stock for easy retrieval Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter products Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and inventory levels Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and stock ordering as required

Qualifications

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is preferred / not necessary Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations / preferred / not necessary Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy assistance or healthcare are advantageous / preferred/ not necessary A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality
