BAM Site Solutions, part of BAM UK & Ireland, provides essential plant, equipment, and logistics support to some of the UK's most exciting construction and infrastructure projects. We're looking for a hands-on, motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Plant Mechanic -- learning how to keep our fleet of construction machinery and tools running smoothly and safely.

On completion of a Plant Mechanic Apprenticeship Level 5 (Scotland SQA) Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance, you will be given the opportunity to progress onto further training
What you'll be doing
As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to:
Maintain, repair and service plant machinery such as excavators, generators, dumpers, and lifting equipment
Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs
Conduct regular safety inspections and complete maintenance records
Learn how to work efficiently, safely and to high industry standards
Support equipment logistics across various project sites
You'll split your time between on-the-job training and college-based learning with a registered training provider.

Who are we looking for?
Entry Requirements (Scotland):
National 5 qualifications in English, Maths and a Science or Technical subject (or equivalent)
A strong interest in engineering, mechanics, or construction plant
A willingness to learn and develop through a mix of hands-on experience and structured training
