Manage employer onboarding, negotiate placement agreements, and ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards and funding requirements.

Learner Recruitment

Promote live apprenticeship vacancies across multiple platforms, including job boards, local networks, educational institutions, and social media. Conduct detailed initial assessments and interviews with prospective learners to assess qualifications, career goals, and suitability. Match candidates to appropriate roles based on skills, experience, interests, and employer requirements. Guide learners through the entire recruitment journey, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience from application to placement.

Coordination & Administration

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employers, candidates, vacancies, and placement progress using CRM or MIS systems. Collaborate with internal departments (Tutors, Compliance, Admin) to ensure seamless onboarding and progression of apprentices. Contribute to recruitment campaigns, marketing materials, and social media strategy to boost engagement and brand visibility. Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to government funding rules, safeguarding protocols, and internal quality standards.

Person SpecificationEssential

Proven experience in recruitment, sales, or employer engagement, ideally within apprenticeships, education, or training. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Target-driven, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong focus on results. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and stakeholders simultaneously. IT proficient, with experience using MS Office and CRM/MIS systems. Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with both employers and learners.

Desirable

Knowledge of the UK apprenticeship landscape and funding rules. Experience supporting learners or working in a pastoral, mentoring, or educational environment. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (if travel is required).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Number of new employer partnerships established per month. Volume of learners successfully placed into apprenticeships. Vacancy fill rate and time to hire. Employer satisfaction and learner retention rates. Contribution to overall business and recruitment targets.
