We are currently recruiting an Apprentice Scaffolder to join a major residential construction project in South Thamesmead. This is a full-time paid apprenticeship opportunity ideal for someone ready to learn a skilled trade, develop site experience, and gain a recognised qualification in scaffolding.
Eligibility - Section 106 Borough Restrictions
You must live in one of the following postcodes to be eligible due to local employment requirements:
DA1, DA5, DA6, DA7, DA8, DA14, DA15, DA16, DA17, DA18, SE2, SE9, SE28.

Applicants who fail to answer the qualifying questions will not be progressed.
What You Will Do:
Assist qualified scaffolders with the safe erection and dismantling of scaffold structures Move materials and equipment around the site Learn how to build base structures, install tubes, fittings, and boards Work safely at height and follow industry-standard safety procedures Complete training and assessments toward a recognised scaffolding qualification Participate in tool talks, site briefings, and classroom-based learning as required Contribute to site preparation, cleanliness, and maintenance
What We Are Looking For:
Aged 18 or over GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths (or willingness to complete Functional Skills) Valid CSCS card Physically fit, confident working outdoors and at height Good communication and teamwork skills Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
