We're skilled tradesmen. Together we bring centuries of experience in stonemasonry, stonework repairs, roofing, leadwork and carpentry for sandstone facades, slate roofs, lead detailing and other age-old materials. All services are delivered in-house by our expert team, assuring our clients of the people and processes being followed on site. We combine traditional craftmanship with modern project management.

Overview - Apprentice Stonemason

As an apprentice stonemason at EBS, you will work alongside experienced and long serving stonemasons to learn their craft for construction , stone repair and all aspects of stonemasonry. This role gives you a hands on experience as well as getting the opportunity to study stonemasonry at college 1 day a week.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in cutting, shaping, and dressing stone using hand tools, power tools Learn to interpret technical drawings and plans for stonework. Clean and maintain tools, workspaces, and equipment. Assist in restoration projects, including cleaning and repairing historical stonework
Skills & Experience

A genuine interest in stonemasonry or construction trades Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
