Job Description

STONEMASON

We're looking for an experienced stonemason to join our team. This is a hands-on role working on a wide range of interesting projects across Perthshire, Angus and Central Scotland, from heritage restoration to high-spec new builds. You'll be working both independently and as part of a small, skilled team, with the chance to grow your craft, learn new skills and take on more responsibility over time.

What you'll be doing:
Carrying out all types of masonry and stonework to a high standard, including random rubble, back-bedded stone, and blockwork.
Reading drawings and interpreting specifications to plan your work effectively.
Helping set out paving and other external works - training will be provided if needed.
Working closely with other trades and occasionally assisting with groundwork.
Travelling to sites across Central Scotland - some overnights may be required (accommodation and subsistence covered).

What you'll bring:
Solid stonemasonry experience and a real passion for this specialist work
The ability to work on your own initiative, or as part of a tight-knit team.
A proactive, honest approach and a desire to keep learning.
A full driving licence is essential; CSCS preferred but not required.
If you've got an apprentice or labourer you work with, we're open to them joining too.
