Cumberland Comms are offering an exciting opportunity to candidates wanting to enter the telecommunications industry. After initial internal training and competency assessments the individual will be placed on a TFO Apprenticeship.

Telecoms Field Operative Apprenticeship - The role to build, provide or repair telecom services for commercial or residential customers on the UK's National Telecom Access Network.

The apprenticeship will last 15 months with a mix of professional training at DTN Academy (Stockton), coupled with on the job learning and off the job training.

The candidate

Those who attend the apprenticeship will gain the knowledge and skills to confidently install, test and certify fibre cable installations whilst working to the correct standards and best practices.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to fast track their career with on-the-job learning, working towards industry recognised qualifications, whilst gaining valuable onsite training.

Must be able to attend the office in Beverley (HU17) daily and be willing to attend DTN Academy in Stockton (TS18) for the 4-week front loaded apprenticeship.

Requirements

Must hold a full UK driving licence

Safety conscious

An excellent standard of work

Good time keeping and attendance

Confidence at heights

Excellent communication skills

A good standard of customer service

Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices

Must always represent the company in a positive manner

Must be happy to work mainly outdoors
