Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving activities. This role requires physical stamina, enthusiasm and being able to work as part of a team. Full training will be given internally and also with outsourced training providers. The Apprentice Warehouse Worker will play a vital part in ensuring efficient and safe warehouse functions, contributing to the overall productivity of our organisation.

Responsibilities

Manage stock levels through accurate stocking, picking, and packing processes Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations Maintain organisation of the warehouse space to optimise workflow Conduct routine maintenance checks on mechanical equipment and report issues promptly Support with construction or assembly tasks as required within the warehouse environment Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and company policies

Qualifications

No previos experianec is required but if you have some it would aid your application. A good level of maths and English is essential. Ability to wrok as part of a team is essentia. Ability to perform lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks.
