Job Description

The Assessor will support the design, delivery and award of NQual Education and Early Years Apprenticeship Standards, with a focus on Early Years Lead Practitioner Level 5 and Specialist Teaching Assistant Level 5. They will ensure rigorous assessment is provided for all learners who undertake an End-Point Assessment with NQual.

It is expected that the person suitable for this role will have experience delivering high-level quality within their sector of expertise and be able to demonstrate a can-do, solutions-focused attitude. They will be required to keep abreast of any changes within their chosen sector and support standardisation events for all internal and external Independent End-Point Assessors.

Key Responsibilities

Support the design and implementation of current NQual Education and Early Years Standards Deliver End-Point Assessments to learners both online and face-to-face Internal Quality Assurance (desirable, not essential) Uphold NQual values of Innovation, Maximisation, Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, Trustworthiness Ensure active involvement in quality improvement for the standards covered within your sector

Skills and Abilities

Must hold an Assessor Qualification or equivalent Preferably will hold Internal Quality Assurance Qualification Preferred experience in delivering End-Point Assessments, creating resources Must have qualifications and experience of standards assessed (Early Years Level 6) Preferably experience working with Ofqual standards
