We are delighted to announce that an exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to join the Little Harriers Lavant for an Apprentice, Early Years Practitioner.

We are looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about beginning their career in child care. The post holder will provide high quality, care and education for children aged 0-5 years for across our 4 rooms.

Little Harriers is a family run nursery set in the beautiful West Sussex countryside. We are so very fortunate to have our own Woodlands onsite for our Forest School sessions which our Pre-schoolers attend 3 mornings a week. In addition to this we will soon be providing Beach School Sessions.

The children participate in many activities following the Early Years Foundation stage and also engage in group cooking around the campfire. All sessions are led by a qualified Forest Leader, providing many opportunities for teaching and learning.

The site also boasts ample outdoor space providing many learning opportunities for the children. There are farm animals onsite which the children can visit and beautiful open green spaces for the children to access.

This position is based over 3 days, working 8.30am-5.30pm & 6 hours paid study (approx. 30 hours per week).

We provide all relevant training, support learning opportunities and progression.

Little Harriers is an

All Year Round

nursery and Early Years staff are expected to work during term time and holiday periods, excluding bank holiday and the Christmas period.

Please be aware that due to location it is essential to have your own transport as we are not within easy access of public transport.
