Job Description

Are you passionate about developing the next generation of health and social care professionals? DN Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated Apprenticeship Trainer Assessor to join our Health, Social Care and Childcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in partnership with employers and support apprentices across Levels 2-5, helping them achieve their qualifications and progress in their careers.
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, training, and assessment, while also supporting internal verification processes and maintaining strong relationships with employers and awarding bodies.
Essential Criteria

  • Degree in a relevant subject (ideally Health and Social Care)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People's Services)
  • Teaching/training qualification or relevant teaching experience
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above
  • Relevant experience in training, teaching, or assessing apprenticeships/NVQs
Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with employers to promote apprenticeship provision and support learner placements
  • Deliver teaching, training, and assessment across a range of levels and formats (classroom, workplace, online)
  • Provide guidance and support to learners throughout their apprenticeship journey
  • Ensure compliance with college, employer, funding, and awarding body requirements
  • Undertake internal verification and contribute to quality assurance processes
