Job Brief
AB Electrical has opportunities for enthusiastic fully qualified 18th Edition Electricians to become part of our growing team. As part of our team, you will receive ongoing training, support and development. We have great opportunities to help install and maintain work for our existing and new client base. Opportunities in the commercial sector with the provision of a wide range of electrical services.
The role requires an experienced, flexible, and highly motivated individual who is capable of working under their own initiative and as part of a team.
You will be working in our electrical department where the current split of works are as follows:
Maintenance & minor repairs 30%
Minor works 30%
Electrical installations 30%
Test & inspections 5%
Breakdowns 5%

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm with a 30minute unpaid break for lunch
Salary:
38,000 - 42,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)
You will be provided with the following:
22 days paid holiday plus all UK statutory Bank Holidays (increases with time served)
Enrolled into company pension scheme after 3 months (opt out if you choose)
City & Guilds 2357 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition
City & Guilds 2391-52 Test & Inspection or equivalent
Must be able to understand and carry out electrical installation work efficiently to BS 7671:2018+A2
Essential Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence
Non-Essential
ECS Card (with at least 6 months remaining)
IPAF
PASMA
Asbestos Awareness
Knowledge of BS 5266-1 & 8 & BS 5389-6
Knowledge of fire and security systems
Knowledge of renewables
Further Requirements
To be familiar with the companies' policies, procedures and guidelines which are set out in the Employee Handbook. Particularly, those associated with Health and Safety.
To undertake training and development essential for the role.
To complete a 6-month probationary period and participate in annual appraisals with your line manager to monitor performance and set objectives.
To undertake any other reasonable duty, at the same level of responsibility, that has been requested by senior staff.
