An exciting opportunity has arisen for an
Aquapark Manager
to lead the operations of a popular outdoor waterpark in Mid Ulster. Our client - a well-established and growing leisure business - is seeking a confident, hands-on leader to continue building on the success of the park as it enters its next chapter.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Leadership
Supervise and inspire a team of up to 40 seasonal and permanent staff.
Oversee rotas, training, and development to ensure a high-performing and safety-focused team.
Organise RLSS (Royal Life Saving Society) lifeguard training and maintain certification records.
Coordinate with booking and office staff to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Operational Management
Maintain RLSS Gold Standard accreditation - a non-negotiable benchmark of excellence.
Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Write and maintain Risk Assessments, Method Statements, NOPs, and EOPs.
Manage the successful completion of the annual Aquapark Accreditation audit.
Events & Marketing
Coordinate group bookings, events, and park promotions.
Support the park's on-site social media presence to engage and attract visitors.
What You'll Need:
Essential:
Management experience in a leisure, aquatics, or outdoor recreation environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Confidence in managing safety-critical operations and compliance documentation.
Organised, calm under pressure, and great at motivating teams.
Desirable:
Lifeguard qualification (e.g. RLSS NPLQ).
RLSS Trainer Assessor qualification.
Valid First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid certification.
