We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic

Aquatics Sales Store Assistant

to join saltwater team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for marine life, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to help customers create their perfect saltwater aquariums. A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to drive business is a must. Previous retail experience within the industry is advantageous but non essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers with product selection and provide expert advice on saltwater aquatics including corals, fish and invertebrates. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store and display tanks and systems. Monitor the health and well-being of marine life in the store. Process sales transactions and handle customer enquiries. Stock and replenish shelves with products as needed. Educate customers on best practices for maintaining saltwater aquariums. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in the aquatics. Strong knowledge of saltwater aquariums, marine fish, and coral care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. A positive attitude and a passion for marine life.
