The successful candidate will be a supervisor within the Advanced Remanufacturing Department based at our facility in Wellheads, Dyce. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to manage their team ensuring they operate within all Company procedures, plan workloads and resources to achieve agreed goals.

An overview of your day
Plan, organise and delegate work activities for the Production teams
Conduct toolbox talks and team briefs to ensure the workshop teams are working safely and well informed
Provide regular feedback on progress at production meetings and escalate any issues that may impact agreed turn times
Represent the Production teams at ARB meetings
Interpret priorities and delegate work activities to the workshop
Ensure equipment availability, approval of workshop consumables and manpower allocation
Update the workshop time and attendance systems to ensure accurate records are maintained
Development and creation of operational procedures
Manage the control of contractors
Supervise the production teams to ensure they are effective, engaged and meeting the required standards. This will include the recruitment, performance management, coaching and development
Encourage and support all Company driven Lean and Six Sigma projects
Ensure administration duties are carried out effectively and in a timely manner
Communicate effectively within the department and provide support and assistance to other staff/suppliers where appropriate
Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the business
Actively highlight any improvement opportunity that may contribute to ensuring the safety of our people, improve quality standards and take care of the environment
Fully investigate and close out any improvement opportunity raised for the attention of the Production teams, identifying and implementing corrective/permanent fix actions
What we need from you
Experienced in product and man management skills - leadership, organisational and planning.
Experienced technical background in Gas Turbine overhaul / component repair and the associated processes
Ability to translate technical requirements into operational instructions
Good leadership, organisational, planning, communication and influencing skills
Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Good knowledge of RWG ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail
Possess a proactive attitude to planning
Understand technical drawings and specifications
Comprehensive knowledge of QHSE procedures and COSHH requirements
Be an effective decision maker
