Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in a high risk environment . This role is crucial in ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure targets are met. Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and productivity. Monitor the use of hand tools and power tools, ensuring they are used safely and effectively. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning. Implement safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any issues that arise. Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance regularly.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role within a food manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble components effectively. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to production tasks. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.50-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
