Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Arcade Technician with management experience to join our team as an Arcade Technician/Engineer. This hands-on role combines technical expertise ensuring our arcade equipment operates seamlessly and our venue provides a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
Duties
Arcade Maintenance & Repairs:
Troubleshoot and resolve front-line technical issues with arcade machines quickly and effectively.
Conduct regular maintenance and implement preventative measures to reduce downtime.
Order replacement parts as needed, maintaining an inventory of critical components.
Maintain and repair arcade machines, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Customer-Facing Problem Solving:
Address and resolve customer issues related to arcade equipment.
Provide a friendly and professional demeanour while handling customer interactions.
Operational Duties:
Be part of our emptying team.
Prioritise and manage tasks independently, ensuring smooth operations even during busy times.
Skills
Proven expertise in arcade machine maintenance and repair.
Management Experience: A background in managing teams and overseeing operations.
Industry Contacts: Helpful to have existing connections within the arcade industry.
Strong technical skills with proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle customer-facing situations with professionalism.
A positive attitude, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Availability to work weekends, bank holidays, and other peak times as required.
