The Role


We're looking for an ambitious Architectural Assistant to join us as our in-house specialist, playing a key role in shaping and scaling the business. This is a hands-on role with real autonomy, performance-based rewards, and room to grow alongside the company.

Working Hours



Full-time role, 5 days per week ideally - however, 3 days considered Typical hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm We're flexible on timings and focus on output and quality rather than clock-watching

Pay & Performance Rewards



25,000 annual retainer pro rata Bonus for every planning application submitted Bonus for every successful planning consent achieved

Working Structure



This role is offered on a self-employed basis or, ideally, via your own limited company We're happy to support you with the setup process if needed

You'll be our dedicated in-house Architectural Assistant There will be opportunities to collaborate, learn, and receive support and training alongside established local agencies Ideal for someone who wants to grow with a start-up and make a real impact

First Project Concept: Community Hub Development


Inspired by successful models such as The Goodshed, Macknade, Gibsons, Chalkpit Farm, and Perry Court, this project aims to create a vibrant, multi-purpose community space. The development will feature:

Cafe & Farmshop:

A welcoming area for local produce, artisan goods, and social gathering.

Community Spaces:

Flexible areas for local businesses, including potential use by florists, veterinary practices, or other small enterprises.

Meeting & Event Facilities:

Spaces for farmers' meetings, workshops, and community events, fostering local collaboration and engagement.

Sustainable & Local Focus:

Emphasis on supporting local producers, sustainability, and community-driven initiatives.
The project seeks to combine retail, social, and professional functions under one roof, creating a hub for both commerce and community interaction.

Preferred Skills:



Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and/or ArchiCAD. Strong 3D modeling and visualization skills, including rendering software Good understanding of building regulations, planning requirements, and construction methods. Ability to produce detailed technical drawings and construction documentation. Excellent graphic communication skills, including presentation boards and diagrams. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Effective team collaboration and communication skills. Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in all deliverables. Enthusiasm to learn, take initiative, and contribute creatively to projects.

Pay: 25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
