Job Description

We require an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our architecture team. This role is primarily to support our existing portfolio of architectural work in the UK and internationally. You will work closely with architectural, urban design and landscape architecture colleagues, based in our Edinburgh offices, to deliver excellent design solutions. Our diverse client base presents interesting and complex projects requiring innovative design solutions and new challenges.



Our Tetra Tech Studio team is made up of over sixty talented urban designers, landscape architects, architects, net zero carbon specialists, visualisers, technologists and other experts. We also work closely with our global network of multi-disciplinary colleagues who provide expertise and innovative solutions for our clients' complex and diverse challenges.



Your role





Your focus will be supporting architectural leads in a range of design projects, from creating masterplans and site layouts to designing buildings, preparing information to support statutory applications and construction packages.



You will work closely with multi-disciplinary design teams, across the various stages of the RIBA Plan of Work.



You will work to both Scottish and England & Wales Building Regulations on a variety of projects across the UK and internationally.



You will provide administrative support on projects, coordinate project meetings and aide in document control. This will help to develop your knowledge of practice and management as well as delivery of service.



With a balance of working from home and the office, the successful candidate will be part of a vibrant design team.




Qualifications





The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to work hard and an ability to work collaboratively with others.



You will bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to help us deliver complex and interesting projects, employing a variety of drawing and modelling skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is beneficial.



You will be architecturally trained and working towards your RIBA Part III.
