Cook's Cast Stone is a large exporter of architectural cast stone across the United Kingdom. With our own design team we create authentic and unique cast stone designs. These include swimming pool surrounds, cast stone door surrounds, coping stones and pier caps to building elevations and drawings provided. We are looking for individual(s) who are have knowledge of the construction industry and are committed to a new workplace.

Summary

We are seeking an Manufacturing Specialist to join our team in the UK. Based in our factory, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality garden architectural cast stone that reflect our company's dedication to excellence and creativity. This is a hands on role as you will be casting stone designs to the industry standards.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Assemble both timber & fibreglass moulds Ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process Cast stone designs using pneumatic hammers Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment Collaborate with team members to improve production workflows Operate large cement mixers to the correct ratio's of limestone, sand & cement Finishing "Wet" Architectural cast stone using trowels & floats Ensuring the curing process is completed correctly

Qualifications

Proven knowledge relevant to manufacturing processes of cast stone Experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability to assemble & release castings/moulds accurately & correctly. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Physical dexterity and stamina for manual tasks. Basic Mathematics (Tape measure use required) Strong work ethic

Pay: From 29,120.00 per year
