to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with measured surveys, drawing up plans, and following design briefs to create bespoke house renovations and extensions. You will be expected to apply your knowledge of planning guidance, building control regulations, and submit planning applications while keeping clients updated on progress.
Responsibilities
Assist with drawing up measured surveys and occasionally conducting them.
Design bespoke house renovations and extensions, of varying sizes and complexities, based on design briefs.
Apply planning guidance and building control regulations to all projects.
Prepare and submit planning applications.
Communicate project updates to clients throughout the process.
Collaborate with the team to ensure design standards are met and deadlines are achieved.
Key Qualifications & Skills
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related subject is desirable but not essential.
5 years of experience in architectural design (preferable).
Proficient in ArchiCAD
(essential).
Experience with measured surveys is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Adobe Suite would be beneficial.
Good understanding of planning procedures, building regulations, and how to navigate local authority policies.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects.
