Architectural Project Manager

Location: Hull Design Studio (HU1 2LP)

Schedule: Full-time, Permanent, Monday-Friday

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Architect / Project Coordinator to lead projects from concept through delivery, while ensuring operational efficiency across the studio. This dual role combines design leadership, project management, and coordination of resources, timelines, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project design and development from concept to completion. Liaise with managers, clients, and teams to define project requirements, scope, and objectives. Ensure all project aspects are organized with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate internal and external resources, assigning roles based on team strengths. Track project performance, progress, and outcomes; escalate risks where needed. Oversee construction documents, permitting, and compliance with standards/codes. Act as main communication point for clients, consultants, vendors, and researchers. Mentor junior staff and foster collaboration across studio teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (or related field). 5+ years' experience in architecture/interior design with at least 3 years in project coordination/management. Proven ability to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget. Strong client-facing, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe PDF and Windows Office ; Revit/3D software a plus. Portfolio demonstrating design and project leadership.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year

Kingston upon Hull HU1 2LP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
