LMC Products Ltd has been supplying the copper tube to UK Refrigeration industry for 19 years, we have built solid foundation in the industry.
We're developing a new venture: an ambitious early-stage business bringing vacuum insulated glazing (VIG) technology to the UK market. VIG represents a step change in thermal performance, enabling ultra-slim, low-U-value glazing solutions ideal for heritage retrofit, cold storage, high-humidity environments, and high-performing building designs in all sectors.
We now need a skilled, technically-credible, client-focussed professional to help introduce this exciting product to the market and drive early sales growth
2. The Responsibility
As Sales Manager, you are responsible for launching our VIG proposition into the UK architectural, facade, and glazing community. You'll combine technical understanding with persuasive communication, helping specifiers and contractors understand how VIG can solve problems other glazing systems can't.
Sales and Revenue generation
i. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
ii. Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas
iii. Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts with clients
This is a hands-on, varied role that spans:
i. Relationship-building with architects, consultants, and system suppliers
ii. Leading early sales conversations
iii. Supporting specification and technical adoption
iv. Representing the business at events and through CPDs
Promote the VIG solution to architects, facade engineers, heritage specialists, and contractors
Deliver technical CPDs, client briefings, and early-stage design guidance
Build and manage a network of early-adopter clients and partners
Develop compelling pitch materials, collate specification documents, and FAQs
Translate client feedback into product refinement and positioning
Support sales to fabricators and glazing installers, helping them understand framing needs and installation standards
Monitor competitor activity and emerging technical/regulatory issues in the glazing sector
Represent the business at relevant industry events, shows, and forums
Contribute to pricing strategy, go-to-market plans, and long-term growth planning

Good knowledge/contact with the architects/developer/contractor within heritage building, hospital or sport sectors

Experience with glazing, heritage retrofit, or high-performance envelopes
Experience in building product specification, technical sales, or design

Background in architecture, facade engineering, building physics, or glazing systems

Confidence delivering CPDs, technical presentations, and early-stage design input

Excellent written and verbal communication

Demonstrable commercial awareness or sales pipeline experience

Familiarity with the RIBA plan of work and specifier journey

Network within architectural or facade specification markets
