Overview

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development of architectural projects, working closely with the team and other external professionals to bring innovative designs to life. This position requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Duties

Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, sketchUp. Collaborating closely & presenting ideas within the design team. Conduct site surveys when necessary to a project. Assist in project management tasks, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to throughout the design process. Delivering on projects in accordance with the RIBA stages. Assisting the senior team with project meetings & surveying. Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning permissions, and health and safety standards during all stages of the project. Maintain accurate records of project progress and documentation.

Skills

Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD and SketchUp are essential. Strong knowledge of the construction process and building materials. Problem solving and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Have the ability to deliver clear, accurate drawings Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
