Salary:

Rate of 15.33 p/h and starting rate of 33.891.00 based on expected hours

What You'll Be Doing:


As an

Area Care Operations Manager

, you will:


Lead and Inspire the Team:

Manage and support the

Deputy Care Operations Managers (DCOMs)

to ensure team engagement, high standards of patient care, and operational excellence.

Ensure Compliance:

Oversee compliance with healthcare regulations, company policies, and procedures to ensure safe, high-quality care for all patients.

Drive Performance:

Monitor the performance of the team, managing absence, performance issues, and providing coaching and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

Foster a Positive Team Culture:

Encourage a learning culture, facilitate team meetings, and develop your staff to enhance performance and engagement.

Recruitment and Development:

Lead recruitment efforts, manage induction processes, and ensure ongoing development of your team.

Operational Excellence:

Ensure smooth and efficient rota management, oversee operational data, and ensure patient care standards are met consistently.

Promote Company Values:

Champion the company's values and ethos, ensuring that all staff maintain professionalism and integrity.

Handle Out-of-Hours Support:

Participate in an on-call management rotation to provide operational support as needed.

What We're Looking For:


We're seeking a leader with the following:


Leadership Experience:

Proven experience managing and developing teams, with the ability to inspire and drive high standards.

Healthcare Experience:

Background in healthcare or a related field, with a strong focus on patient care and compliance.

Excellent Communication:

Able to communicate effectively across teams and with external partners, maintaining a professional approach at all times.

People Skills:

Strong ability to manage performance, provide coaching, and handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.

Problem-Solving & Initiative:

Demonstrated ability to think critically, manage change, and make decisions under pressure.

Driving Experience:

A full UK manual driving licence is essential.

Adaptability & Resilience:

Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Background & Experience:


Leadership Skills:

Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient care, transport, or a similar field.

Strong Organizational Skills:

Experience managing resources, rotas, and staff performance effectively.

Driving Licence:

A full UK manual driving licence is essential.

Commitment to Development:

A willingness to continue developing your leadership skills and knowledge of healthcare regulations.
