Salary: 42,000 + Benefits

Bakeries: 4 London Locations (growing to 5 by early 2026)

We're looking for a dynamic and hands-on Area Manager to lead our growing network of Humble Crumble bakeries across London. You'll be the go-to person for our London bakery managers - the problem-solver, the cheerleader, and the one who makes sure things justwork. You'll keep our teams connected, our standards high, and our bakeries buzzing with positive energy.

Who we are:



Humble Crumble is a crumble bakery - the first of its kind. We currently have five bakeries and are looking to expand across the UK. We are a high-growth company where the day-to-day work is often fast paced and changes quickly. Our goal is to expand whilst improving the quality of our products, service and importantly, the work environment within the company. We want to be a global leader in the hospitality industry that other companies look up to.

What you'll do:



You'll be the heartbeat of our London bakeries - supporting, inspiring, and guiding our managers to build happy, high-performing teams. From hiring brilliant people to making sure every crumble served is perfect, you'll help our bakeries run smoothly and efficiently. Here's some specifics of the role:

Lead and support our managers

through weekly 1:1s, site visits, and hands-on coaching - making sure they feel confident, capable, and cared for

Own recruitment and onboarding

, finding the right people for our growing teams and ensuring every new starter begins their Humble Crumble journey on the right foot

Keep performance on track

- reviewing sales, labour costs, COGs, team happiness, and customer reviews, turning insights into action

Champion consistency and compliance

, preparing for audits, checking that systems are being used properly, and that bakeries are clean and safe

Collaborate

closely with our Product Quality and Training Manager to ensure our crumble standards stay sky-high and our teams are brilliantly trained

Stay connected to the shop floor

- jumping on a monthly bakery shift, signing off rotas, and stepping in when managers are on leave or need support

Keep communication flowing

, leading monthly bakery leadership meetings and making sure our people trackers and processes are up to date
