Job Description

1 Area Manager required for a growing family-run commercial cleaning company specialising in the luxury retail and office sector. Based in central London, this is a full-time role for a candidate that has excellent client and people skills to reflect the personal touch of the founders and the values of the business.

To effectively manage and develop the operational team within the designated Area and responsible for cleaning of client sites ensuring that the highest quality standards are met. This position is responsible in supporting the development and management of the highest standard of cleaning to ensure client satisfaction. To deliver to specification and working within agreed budgets, company policies and procedures.

To report to the Senior Operations Manager and ensure that the Company's business objectives are achieved and that all contractual responsibilities are met.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Responsible for work allocation to the cleaning team, keeping within the specified detail of the contracts.

Plan staff rota's and manage staff hours worked, sickness and annual leave to ensure staff are paid correctly.

Control and issue cleaning materials, ensuring stock rotation and safety in storage.

Carry out scheduled cleaning audits to monitor and manage operative's performance and adherence to Company standards as per the requirements of the contract

Identify training needs and deliver training as required.

Check condition of the equipment, organise repairs/replacements as appropriate to ensure that all equipment is in safe working order, PAT tested and serviced.

Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.

Liaise with the clients on a regular basis. Manage the day-to-day procedures regarding inspections.

Efficiently deal with reactive situations whether client or employee generated, including taking action in the evenings or at weekends should the need arise.

Contract Cleaning management experience essential

Ability to speak Spanish preferred

Competency and good proficiency in IT skills required

Good time management skills

Full UK driving licence preferred

Good team player

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekend availability
