Background
in Multi Site Cleaning Management.
The Role:
You're role as an Area manager is primarily to
oversee the day-to-day operations
across a portfolio of multiple large sites in central London (~5-10). Your typical day will be around
10hrs of work
on-site; but every day is slightly different. Typically, your work day will be from around
11am - 8pm
, but this will be flexible based on business needs.
Your Key Responsibilities include
:
Building and maintaining strong
client relationships
through regular in person meetings, combined with phone and email contact.
Ensure our
high standard
s are delivered across the portfolio.
Handling day-to-day
admin tasks
, including writing cleaning specifications, training guides, designing site posters, using iPhone and laptop tools, and working with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Overseeing and
mentoring
your team of supervisors.
Managing
recruitment, people, training
, and
team development
.
Creating and delivering weekly
payroll reports
.
Overseeing
health and safety audits
, conducting
site inspections
, and maintaining Hive's renowned high standards.
Organising
periodic cleans
, checking
stock levels
, and an understanding how to correctly use cleaning machinery.
Scheduling and covering
shifts due to holiday, sickness, or emergencies.
Supporting and mentoring
cleaners, supervisors
, and reporting to your Account manager.
Participating in company events
and training sessions--and even helping to build them!
Occasionally working weekends if needed (for additional payment), and
willing to travel
across Central London.
