We're looking for someone reliable, hard-working and can communicate effectively within the engineering team. Experience working in either a stores / logistics or automotive maintenance environment would be advantageous however not essential, we can deliver all the training you require. You'll need to be team player with good IT skills (Outlook, Excel & Word) and an ability to learn bespoke software. A driving license is also essential.
You'll be responsible for the management of two depot stores, ensuring we've always got good part availability to allow the speedy repair and service of our fleet of modern vehicles. The role will involve ordering parts from contracted suppliers, controlling and maintaining stock levels and all the administration that goes with this. You'll also lead our upcoming project as we transition to a new Part & Stores system (Hexagon). Some manual handling will be required as part of the role.
