Permanent:

Part-time 22.5 hours per week (3 day equivalent) Monday-Wednesday

Work location: Solihull, B90 4BN - Primarily home based, with travel to our office and clinics as and when required

Area Talent Acquisition Partner

to join our team on a

part-time basis

, supporting our primary care clinics to identify great talent in the veterinary field.


This is a fantastic hands-on, strategic recruitment role where you'll partner closely with passionate local leaders to attract, engage, and hire exceptional clinical talent while delivering an inclusive, high-quality candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.


You will be working with a collaborative Talent Acquisition team in UK&I while also being part of Mars Veterinary Health Europe, a global organisation with the clear purpose of creating A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS.

The Role




As an Area TA Partner, you will act as the trusted recruitment advisor and local TA expert for your area. You'll lead end-to-end hiring activity, build strong talent pipelines, and align recruitment efforts with workforce plans and business priorities. You'll also champion our employer brand and support internal mobility initiatives across clinics.


This role combines strategic thinking with day-to-day recruitment delivery in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities



Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, selection, and offer. Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, workforce needs, and local clinic dynamics. Coordinate onboarding with our People Services and clinic teams to ensure a seamless candidate journey. Build and maintain proactive pipelines for clinical roles using a range of sourcing techniques, while developing relationships with passive candidates and local veterinary networks. Act as a trusted advisor to area leaders and hiring managers on recruitment best practices and market insights. Coach and influence leaders on effective interviews, decision-making, and delivering a great candidate experience. Track and report recruitment metrics including time-to-offer, pipeline health, and source effectiveness while using data and insights to improve hiring outcomes at area level. Ensure all recruitment activity complies with local labour laws, GDPR, and internal standards.

About You




You're a confident, credible Talent Acquisition professional who thrives on building relationships and delivering results! You enjoy working autonomously while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and sharing best practices with your team, and you will bring to the role:

Previous experience recruiting for niche/hard to fill roles, ideally in a multi-site environment. Expertise in sourcing/head hunting, ATS usage, and recruitment best practice. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills. A data-led mindset with experience using recruitment analytics. Sound knowledge of employment legislation and inclusive hiring practices.

Experience working as in-house recruiter in the veterinary or healthcare industries would be highly advantageous, though not essential.
