We're looking for a dependable, enthusiastic, and creative
Club Leader
to run after school art clubs at local primary schools. We're looking for a teacher to start from January 2026, every Wednesday in Coulsdon and Fridays in Whyteleafe. Hours are typically 3:15pm - 4:45pm. In this role, you'll deliver fun, engaging art sessions to children, helping them explore a different creative theme each week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for art and working with children. A
Club Leader
will be earning 25-35 per session (rate dependent on age and experience). There are also additional opportunities to support our holiday camps during school breaks, such as our Purley Mega-camp and multiple HAF (free school meal) holiday camps. As our school offering is always expanding, there will be additional hours offered throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome children to the club, take the register
Introduce the weekly art theme (materials and examples provided)
Provide hands-on support to children as they work on their art projects
Encourage creativity, confidence, and enjoyment in each session
Ensure children are safely dismissed and that the classroom is left tidy
Requirements:
A creative/artistic background (professional or hobbyist)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Previous experience supporting clubs or working with children
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 20.00-23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week
