Teaching Personnel is proud to be supporting a secondary school in Liverpool in their search for a talented and motivated Art and Design Teacher to join their team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your creativity into the classroom and help students explore their artistic potential.
The Role:
As an Art and Design Teacher, you will:
Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons in Art and Design to KS3 and KS4 students
Develop students' creativity, critical thinking, and practical artistic skills
Plan and prepare lessons and schemes of work in line with the national curriculum
Encourage exploration of various techniques and mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art
Support students in building portfolios and preparing for GCSE assessments
Work collaboratively within the Creative Arts department and contribute to extracurricular activities such as exhibitions and clubs
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification
A degree in Art, Fine Art, Design, or a related creative discipline
Passion for nurturing creativity and individual expression
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage all learners
Confidence in delivering practical and theory-based content

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
