The Role @ Sumo Sheffield

Sumo Sheffield is looking for an Art Producer to join the team! We\'re looking for someone who\'s got Games Production experience with a focus on Art and someone who has proven ability to foster a culture of trust and collaboration. If you\'ve got a strategic mindset and a pro-active can-do attitude, this could be the role for you!

This role can be remote within the UK.

As an Art Producer, you will:

  • Be a key member of the production team working alongside leads and stakeholders to create world class console and PC titles.
  • Take full responsibility for at least one or more art centric feature teams working with leads and owners to deliver timely, high quality content.
  • Establish and evangelise good use of workflows and pipelines to capture key dependencies early.
  • Support Art Leads and Art Managers in establishing and maintaining art quality bars, and reinforcing art direction.
  • Work with senior production and leads to develop and maintain the high level roadmap using data to drive accuracy.
  • Develop and champion Agile best practice, encouraging teams to continuously learn and improve.
  • Help teams navigate complex creative and technical issues using a range of coaching and facilitation techniques.
  • Create achievable sprint and milestone plans by breaking down large tasks and estimating them with you team.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog for your area of the project.
  • Identify, monitor and mitigate risk though structured and visible processes.
  • Organise and run all necessary sprint meetings from planning though to retrospectives.
  • Ensure teams work in a highly visible way supporting the creation and maintenance of project documentation.

  • Solid experience in a production with a focus on Art.

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and an eagerness to support teams.
  • A desire to seek out learning opportunities and work with others to develop best practice.
  • Clear, precise and empathetic communication skills.
  • A rich and detailed knowledge of a variety of project management and production methodologies.
