Our voluntary aided, Roman Catholic coeducational school in Bromley is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Technician to join our team.

Art Technician Responsibilities:

• As an Art Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our vibrant art department. You will assist in the preparation and maintenance of art materials and equipment, ensuring that everything is ready for inspiring lessons and projects.
• Collaborate closely with our talented art teachers to set up and organize materials for various art classes, enabling students to unleash their creativity.
• Take responsibility for the safe storage and disposal of art supplies, chemicals, and equipment, adhering to health and safety guidelines to create a secure and nurturing environment.
• Participate in the preparation of displays showcasing our students\' outstanding artwork, contributing to the visual beauty of our school.
• Provide essential support during art exhibitions, helping to showcase our students\' artistic achievements to the community.

Art Technician Requirements:

• Strong passion for art and a genuine interest in supporting the artistic development of young minds.
• Previous experience as an Art Technician or a similar role is advantageous, but not essential.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that art materials and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to work, assisting our art department in delivering outstanding creative experiences for our students.
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced educational environment.
• A strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
