We are looking for a skilled and reliable Artic Driver to join our team transporting mobile homes, caravans and lodges. If you have a passion for driving, a strong work ethic, and experience with abnormal load transport, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate an articulated and rigid lorries, ensuring the delivery of goods to customer locations. Transport and handle abnormal loads, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with road regulations. Ensure accurate and timely deliveries within designated routes and timeframes. Load and unload goods as required, ensuring proper handling and care of items. Always adhere to all road safety laws and company policies. Keep accurate collection and delivery records and maintain good communication with customers.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence and CPC qualification. Experience driving Artic vehicles. Abnormal load experience is an advantage. A good understanding of road safety and traffic laws. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Ability to work as part of a team (including being accompanied on journeys by a banks person) and to be able to work on your own. Involves up to 4 nights out a week. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Good fitness required as job involves some heavy lifting. Flexibility with working hours and routes, as required including some weekends.
