Job Overview:

We're looking for a

full-time Arts & Crafts Instructor

with a passion for creative expression and working with children. In this role, you'll lead a wide variety of fun, hands-on sessions that explore everything from painting and sculpture to themed crafts, design challenges, and seasonal projects.

Whether it's running a relaxed after-school craft club or helping lead our exciting holiday camps, you'll inspire young artists to think creatively, try new things, and enjoy the process of making something their own.

We provide all lesson plans and materials

- you just bring the energy, enthusiasm, and creativity!

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver a range of

engaging, age-appropriate arts & crafts activities

. Create an inclusive, positive environment where every child feels encouraged to take part and express themselves. Set up and pack away resources and equipment before and after sessions. Support children of all ages and abilities with patience and creativity. Build great relationships with kids, parents, and school staff. Ensure all activities are carried out safely, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures. Assist with holiday camp programs and special themed events when needed. Represent Kidz Academy's values and help grow our creative offering in the community.

Essential Criteria:

At least 1 year's experience working with children in a school, club, camp, or childcare setting. A background or qualification in

art, design, education, early years, or a creative subject

. Recent

Enhanced Access NI Check

(within 1 year) or willingness to complete one. Strong communication and group management skills. High levels of creativity, initiative, and energy. Full

driving licence

and

access to your own transport

. Organised, dependable, and great with kids of all ages.

Bonus Skills (Not Essential):

Experience delivering art sessions to children with additional needs. Interest or experience in themed crafts (e.g. seasonal, nature-based, or cultural projects). Comfortable supporting other areas (e.g. STEM, games) during holiday camps.

Competitive, based on experience (18,000-26,000 per year)
