We are seeking an experienced
Artworker
to join our print production team, specialising in preparing and managing artwork for large-format digital printing. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, strong technical ability, and a deep understanding of print production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, check, and optimise artwork files for large-format print.
Send files to press using RIP software (Caldera / Asanti).
Ensure all artwork meets press-ready specifications and colour standards.
Manage artwork revisions, resubmissions, and version control.
Create and maintain templates for various print applications.
Collaborate with production and finishing teams to ensure accurate output.
Maintain high-quality standards and consistency across all artwork produced.
Learn cross-functional processes, including production preparation, planning and customer service, when required.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum
3-4 years' experience
within the large-format graphics or print production industry.
Proven experience preparing and managing pre-press artwork.
Experience with
Caldera RIP
(essential) and
Asanti RIP
(desirable).
Familiarity with
large-format flatbed printers
and
Zund cutters
.
Skills & Competencies
Advanced proficiency in
Adobe Creative Suite
(Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Strong knowledge of
Caldera
and/or
Asanti RIP
software.
Understanding of
colour management
,
file formats
, and
print processes
.
Confident using both
Mac and PC
platforms.
Technically capable of interpreting
CAD drawings
and print specifications.
Working knowledge of
Microsoft Office
(Excel, Word).
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
Desirable Attributes
