Then this placement is for you.
This exciting 8-week paid placement offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of BBC Asian Network. You'll gain hands-on skills and experience working across shows and departments, all based at our HQ in Birmingham.
Role Responsibility
You'll work with multiple teams, rotating across departments. You'll take part in creative meetings and support production before and during live shows. This is a great opportunity to get a full view of how a national radio station operates.
You'll be assigned a mentor who will meet with you weekly to support your development and future plans. As a 24/7 station, working hours may vary and include evenings or weekends. We'll do our best to accommodate personal circumstances when planning your schedule.
You'll also travel to London for a training week, which we'll arrange for you.
