are looking for an experienced Support Worker to join our Renfrewshire Team. Must be capable of engaging and promoting interest with the service users.

Providing 1:1 care and support for clients who are supported living in their own home, attending activities, in the community, to higher education and to attend appointments, whatever the client requires.

SVQ 2 equivalent or above

The Support Worker will assist with building daily routines and activities. The key to the services is to keep the service user engaged and safe when accessing the community and doing things that they enjoy and are meaningful to them. We welcome new ideas for activities and clubs as the services grow and adapt. Must be confident in accessing the community on a 1:1 basis.

Applicants will have 1 year or more experience in a Social or Health Care background. Be outgoing and enjoy working in the community as well as being patient and friendly. Willing to support with any tasks/activities required for the role, this may include basic house work or support to appointments. Implementing and managing strategies that help the service user to manage day to day life.

Public transport can be used with most of the service users. Others may require use of a vehicle.
