Assembler
Based at the NaughtOne factory in Elland, we are looking for an experienced furniture assembler whose main responsibility will be to assemble furniture / furniture frames to produce a high quality finished product.
Main responsibilitiesProduce high quality, accurate and timely work to meet client demands and tight deadlines.
Examine finished and in process work for defects and flaws
Use paperwork to carry out specific detailed tasks (labels, drawings & specifications)
Have a flexible approach to your work
Carry out any general tasks when asked by your Supervisor / Manager
Proactive team player and committed to continuous improvement
Adhere to and maintain all Health & Safety requirements
Core Competencies
We offer full training and will bring you up to speed on product portfolio but we are looking for someone with the following skills & capabilities:Educated to GCSE standard in both Maths & English
Minimum 1 years' experience in joinery or furniture bench assembly
Attention to detail with regards to following SOPs
Passion to produce high quality products
Good communication to relay information and understand other department or team requirements.
High energy and endurance
High quality of work in order to meet a fast-paced production delivery schedule
Joinery qualification, not essential but would be an advantage
The role will require some heavy lifting from time to time.
Flexible in all aspects of work
Experience of using air powered frame guns, air, power and hand tools
Person requirements
You should have experience of working to targets within a busy, fast-paced manufacturing setting as well as -Take pride in your work
Have a 'can do', positive attitude
Hard working
Committed and punctual individual
Team player
Excellent time keeping
Must be accurate and have good attention to detail
Reporting to the Factory Manager, this is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. The working hours are Monday - Thursday, 7am - 4pm & Friday, 7am - 1pm.
