Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various assembly techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires a hands-on approach, utilising both hand and power tools to construct and assemble components efficiently and accurately. The Assembler will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.

Duties

Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery according to specifications Fabricate parts as needed, ensuring precision and attention to detail Perform carpentry and joinery tasks for the construction of various products Conduct heavy lifting as required during the assembly process Assist in roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical tasks when necessary Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication and assembly within a construction or manufacturing environment Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively Knowledge of carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team environment A proactive attitude towards safety practices in the workplace

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
