Job Description

The Assembly Operator will perform assembly tasks as pat of a team in a manufacturing environment of Hydraulic pumps and/or motors.

Maintain a high quality of work, fully cooperating with the Manufacturing team and adhering to work procedures.

Hours of work - Dayshift:

6.00am - 2.00pm / 2.00pm - 10.00pm, Monday to Friday on an alternating weekly shift pattern. Salary advertised includes 20% shift premium.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assemble hydraulic pumps and/or motors in accordance with the Company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

Ensure all products are assembled in accordance with the Company's quality and health and safety specifications.

Test hydraulic units to customer specific specifications (further to specific training.

Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.

Responsible for achieving hourly production targets.

Ensure production controls are adhered to.

Understand KPI's and achieve production targets.

Communicate breakdowns or machine abnormalities to supervision and maintenance, log breakdowns on the main database.

Maintain good 5's standards within your area of work and look for methods for continuous improvements.

Exhibit flexibility to support production.

Perform daily checks in accordance with the Company's production engineering and quality procedures.

Essential requirements:

Previous experience in a similar roles.

Ability to work to set production targets.

Follow written instructions.

Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.

Flexible & adaptable.

Team player.

Ability to problem solve at a basic level.

Desirable requirements:

Industrial paint spraying experience.

Forklift licence

Ability to use and read measuring equipment.
