Job Title:

Hose Assembly Production Line Operative

Department:

Warehouse

Reports to:

Warehouse Manager

Role:

This individual will assist in the production and assembly of all hose assembly & kitting orders placed, ensuring we meet customer deadlines and schedules.

Assist the Warehouse Manager & Assistants with the distribution orders, but focusing mainly on hydraulics and in the receiving in of new stock when containers and deliveries arrive.

Assist with other warehouse related duties when required.

Adhering to all Health and Safety compliance policies and procedures in place.

Ability to work within a team environment focused on maximising production.

Desired skills & experience:

Previous hydraulic hose assembly experience would be beneficial, but is not a prerequisite.

Previous experience in working on a busy production line would be very beneficial.

High level of manual dexterity and accuracy, capable of working to the required quality standard.

Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.

Capable of working under pressure, adhering to tight deadlines, while maintaining a quality level of service.

Good team player, the successful candidate will need to work closely with the other production operatives.

Good level of fitness, the job involves being on your feet the majority of the day, operating the machinery, some lifting may also be required.

Terms & Conditions:

This post has the specified working hours of 40 hours per week, normally 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.00am - 2.00pm on Fridays with a 30 minute lunch break, but it is required that the Warehouse Manager will work such hours necessary to carry out the duties associated with the post.
