Job Description


Our Client who are experiencing significant growth are looking to recruit Assembly Operators at their Coatbridge Plant. This is an opportunity to work within a new team and receive an excellent level of training to work within a very reputable Organisation. The Assembly Operators will maintain daily work records and ensure quality control is met by 100% inspection of the products that are manufactured.

Your Time at Work
The post holder will initially train on a rotating Early/Back shift pattern for a period of up to 6 months thereafter transfer to a nightshift pattern. 35 hours per week for Early / Back Shift and 37.5hours fo Nightshift.

Early: 6am to 2pm (Mon to Fri)
Back: 2pm to 10pm (Mon to Fri)
Night: 10pm to 6am (Sun to Thur)

Additional hours may be required to support the needs of the Business.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Layout of Components for Assembly Manufacturing Operations.
- Operate HMI screen to select, load or save operating programs on wrapping or spot-welding equipment.
- Measure, weigh, examine and record data for all parts to ensure they are within specification and meet company standards. Typical measuring equipment such as micrometre, vernier, drop gauge, balance used for measuring.
- Complete quality checks and paperwork every day to maintain production control and company standards.
- Communicate assembly productivity to line manager.
- Make sure work environment remains safe, tidy, clean, and well-maintained by performing general housekeeping duties throughout shift.
- Tool setting, and tool management. (After inhouse training)
- Review Quality of Previous Builds with Quality Team and Engineering.
- Work as part of a team to drive for results and meet overall company goals.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects.

Experience / Skills Required
- Experience of Component Assembly manufacturing Operations.
- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High dexterity in manual manufacturing.

Key Information and Benefits
Starting Salary of \xc2\xa325,000 with additional 20% shift allowance paid training on early/back shift and 33% bonus paid on Nightshift.

25 days paid holidays plus 8 Public holidays
