We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products using hand tools and power tools, ensuring that all items meet quality standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Assemble various components and products according to specifications and drawings.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
Conduct quality checks to ensure all assembled products meet company standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Assist in training new employees on assembly techniques and safety procedures as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the production schedule.
