Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong in using hand and power tools. As an Assembly Operator, you will play a crucial role in the assembly process within our manufacturing environment, ensuring that products are assembled accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process. Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines. Report any issues or defects in materials or equipment to the supervisor promptly.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. The ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Some electrical experience would be an advantage. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Accuracy and a strong attention to details.

We are currently only looking for Night Shift workers and this position will be entitled to a 20% shift allowance.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
